Amazon and Pandora's new thing.

For us that love music, we now have more offerings as to where to get it, hear it, or just borrow it for a while.
Amazon and Pandora have both jumped in to the subscription service.
Pandora always offered a premium listening experience, but they’ve made it better, and later this year will offer a regular service just like the others.
Amazon’s prime music was always lacking in what you could hear, but not anymore if you get the subscription.
Now sound quality, and exclusive releases will be the thing that sets the best apart from the others.
Pick up a free month of Amazon’s service. The app works both on Android and iOS platforms, and in my opinion is pretty good and accessible.
I don’t have the streaming service, but have purchased music stored in Amazon’s cloud, so use the app often for both listening to it and downloading it to my iPhone.
Just thought I’d share that info.

Now I've picked up that free month of Amazon Music Unlimited.
I believe you'll find it totally accessible both on your computer and mobile devices.
On the iPhone it just added an icon that says browse.
Click that opens the door to much pleasure.
As to user easy compared to others, I really like it and the features.
Apple music is going to have to get a second opinion from me after this 30 day test.
I might be forced to decide who I like better.
For you that hate iTunes, Amazon Music Unlimited is for you.
Both have features the other doesn't, but I really like the fact I can chose a type of music, say Country, R and B, in my library, and all my music under that heading can be shuffled, or just played.
Apple music forces me to build a playlist as of now.
That is only in the library, because on the brows in Apple music, you can pick a type, so I don't know why I can't in my private collection.
Maybe I'm missing something.
I'm speaking of the app on the iPhone.
Going to give that a harder look, because it is a feature Apple had, but seems to have dropped in the latest version.
So, that is my opinion right now on Amazon's new service.
Really good, and well laid out.

I need to add this, because of talking to someone it got pointed out to me.
When I say Amazon works great on the computer, I mean on the webg.
The app for PC's sucks, and it not accessible at all right now.
I've chatted with technical support, and they've not fixed that yet.

I'm quite happy with the Amazon Music Unlimited service thus far. I will likely drop Sotify for it, and am debating whether to pick up the Echo subscription or to go with the full on one. I like some things about Apple Music, but the fact that it is only really workable on iOS kinda stinks on ice. I didn't get in to playlists, but did a basic comparison podcast on it that's now on Applevis if anyone is interested. It just compares Siri and Alexa basically as they relate to the music services.

Apple still have the edge on catalog content.
I was looking for Lana Del Ray.
Amazon didn't list her at all.
The ffruit had all her stuff.
Apple might have a bit of an edge on sound quality, or a higher bit rate, but you'd need a good headset to notice that.
I'll do it for the 30 days, then I'll have to decide.
It's good actually.

In iTunes under store.
If you go down near the bottom you'll find Apple music and a 3 months trial.
Click that and you'll find out how to sign up.
